RARC Psychiatric & Behavior Genetics Workgroup – Kickoff Meeting

FreeThe Rutgers Addiction Research Center (RARC) invites researchers across Rutgers University to join the newly established RARC Psychiatric & Behavioral Genetics Workgroup.
Led by Drs. Jill Rabinowitz, Jessica Salvatore, and Sarah Brislin, this workgroup will bring together scholars from across departments with shared interests in psychiatric and behavioral genetics. The group will feature colloquia from national and international experts and provide a collaborative forum for discussing research ideas, including manuscripts, presentations, and grant proposals.
The overarching goals of the workgroup are to:
-Advance understanding of the genetic basis of complex mental health outcomes
-Promote best practices in the modeling, analysis, and interpretation of genomics data
-Facilitate multidisciplinary collaborations within and beyond Rutgers
The workgroup will meet monthly, on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM, in a virtual format. Researchers and trainees at all career stages are welcome to participate!
