The aim of the Forum Board is to connect students seeking research opportunities and labs seeking research assistants. If you are a student, post your information under the “Students Looking for Research Opportunities” topic. If you are an investigator looking for a research assistant, post under “Labs Looking for Research Assistants”. We’ve also added a new space—“Beyond the Lab: Jobs, Internships & Volunteer Opportunities”—for posting and exploring opportunities outside of traditional lab settings. For directions on how to use and post on the Forum Board, click here
Hello,
My name is Tiffany Enemuo, and I am a rising senior at Rutgers University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. My laboratory experience thus far includes coursework in biology lab, general and organic chemistry lab, and physics lab. I have also completed courses such as Genetics, Molecular Genetics, Introduction to Cognitive Science, Psychopathology, and Biochemistry.
My research interests center on childhood development, particularly the interplay between nature and nurture, and how the interaction of genetics and environment may influence cognitive patterns, vulnerabilities, and the development of addictions later in life. I am also deeply interested in the scope of neuroplasticity and what the brain’s adaptability reveals about learning and resilience.
I would be honored to contribute to any research that explores these areas—or engages with related topics more broadly. If you are interested, I would be glad to share my resume and further discuss how I might support your research efforts. Please reach out to me via email at tce22@scarletmail.rutgers.edu.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Kind regards,
Tiffany Enemuo
Hello,
My name is Mira Varadachari, and I am a rising junior in Rutgers University - New Brunswick with a major in biomedical engineering. Since I embarked on my college journey, I yearned to secure an internship or research position and work in a laboratory to gain research and hands-on experience. At a young age, I developed an avidity for science, particlarly in science and medicine. As I commenced on my high school and college journey, I became zealous about psychology and neuroscience, and hoped to apply engineering disciplines to these fields. I am interested in research that entails biology, psychology, and neuroscience, primarily on psychological and neurological disorders and treatment to them. I want the chance to apply my knowledge and skills as well as gain new skills and expand my understanding. I want to apply whatever I learned from here to any career I pursue (Medical Research) and thereby make a meaningful impact to the world.
Please reach out to me at himirav@gmail.com or mrv74@scarletmail.rutgers.edu about opportunities aligning with my passions.
Thank you,
Mira Varadachari
