My research focuses on tobacco behavior trends, particularly non-cigarette products, tobacco health disparities, tobacco control policy, including tobacco regulatory science, and survey methods. My work includes studying patterns of tobacco use, in particular non-cigarette products like electronic cigarettes and cigars; the impact of product characteristics, like menthol or flavoring in tobacco products, on patterns of use; and examining market trends. I have held numerous R01s from the NIH and co-lead one of only nine Tobacco Centers of Regulatory Science (TCORS) funded by the NIH and FDA.
