I am a consultant in statistics, psychometrics, and experimental design for research primarily involving human participants in clinical psychology, emotion regulation, stress, cardiovascular and brain psychophysiology, and personality theory. (I occasionally work with researchers involved in animal models of brain and behavior.) My own research focuses on how personality, reactivity to psychosocial and sensory stressors as measured by cardiovascular and nervous system psychophysiology, and affiliative and stressful social contexts interact to impact the propensity to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages and substances. I also do psychometric research on tests in personality, health, sport, and industrial/organizational psychology.
