We’re excited to launch this new group co-led by Drs. Kristina Jackson and Marilyn Piccirillo with a special presentation by Dr. Grace Kong, Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Kong’s research explores how social media can be used as a powerful data source to identify tobacco use and promotion among youth and young adults. She will highlight innovative approaches, including machine learning and generative AI, for analyzing social media data to detect emerging trends and discuss how these methods can be applied to address broader public health challenges, including substance use and mental health.
