DESCRIPTION:As we lean more and more into equity in a variety of spaces and places\, health equity has become a significant part of this ongoing conversation. Health equity and the social determinants of health are interconnected in a variety of ways when working with our clients\, not just around health outcomes\, but improving their overall quality of life. Another aspect to this connection is the concept of intersectionality and how it has an impact on how and why clients may or may not access care or have adequate access to receive care.
