DESCRIPTION:Join the Passaic County Department of Health Services and Overdose Fatality Review Team for an educational experience with engaging speakers\, immersive breakout rooms\, role playing activities\, & networking opportunities! \nWith topics focused on harm reduction\, exploration of barriers\, strategies for building strong rapport with clientele/target populations\, and more; this conference will provide in-depth exploration\, quality information\, and discussion on the aforementioned topics and various methods of preventative action that can be utilized. Ultimately emphasizing how each and every one of us and Passaic County as a whole can implement these preventive measures and maximize the potential to mitigate overdoses as well as save and protect lives within our community. \nWe invite all those that are in the field of or directly involved with substance use\, addiction\, mental health\, prevention\, counseling\, treatment\, and social work as well as providers\, community leaders\, and others that wish to learn more about this topic and be part of the conversation. \nThis event is free\, first come\, first served.
