SUMMARY:TRACC Seminar with Dr. Manesh Gopaldas
DESCRIPTION:Manesh Gopaldas\, MD\, is an Addiction Psychiatrist and NIDA- funded T32 Research Fellow at Columbia University. He is engaged in health services research\, with a primary focus on identifying\, developing\, and implementing best practices to engage and retain individuals with substance use disorders in their care. \nThrough his T32 fellowship\, he has pursued several research projects\, including investigating the relationship between medication adherence and health care service utilization among treatment-seeking individuals with opioid use disorder. Dr. Gopaldas has also delved into examining the factors that influence continuous engagement in care for those with opioid use disorder. Committed to enhancing addiction service delivery\, he has enrolled in Weill Cornell’s master’s program in Health Policy and Economics\, with the goal of acquiring specialized training in health economics and analytic methods. \n\nFor registration\, click here.
